It\u2019s bouquets of flowers, shiny diamonds and fancy dinners. It\u2019s nice and all, and probably makes your friends jealous. It makes you happy in the moment. But what about the morning after? And the day after that?<\/p>\n<p id=\"14e5\" class=\"my mz eo aq na b nb nc nd ne nf ng nh ni nj nk nl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">The reality is that true happiness can never be boxed and or wrapped.<\/p>\n<p id=\"1e7a\" class=\"my mz eo aq na b nb nc nd ne nf ng nh ni nj nk nl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Flashy gifts can\u2019t compare to the small, personal moments you can share with someone. A relationship built upon these gestures will be successful. Trust me when I say: the small stuff\u00a0<em class=\"nm\">really<\/em>\u00a0matters in a relationship.<\/p>\n<p id=\"da21\" class=\"my mz eo aq na b nb nc nd ne nf ng nh ni nj nk nl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">For example, do you:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li id=\"c603\" class=\"my mz eo aq na b nb nc nd ne nf ng nh ni nj nk nl nn no np\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Make your partner a cup of tea in the morning?<\/li>\n<li id=\"8de6\" class=\"my mz eo aq na b nb nq nd nr nf ns nh nt nj nu nl nn no np\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Notice when they\u2019ve had a hard day and then make them dinner to try to bring their stress levels down?<\/li>\n<li id=\"8efe\" class=\"my mz eo aq na b nb nq nd nr nf ns nh nt nj nu nl nn no np\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Bring them home little presents from time to time \u201cjust because\u201d?<\/li>\n<li id=\"c27c\" class=\"my mz eo aq na b nb nq nd nr nf ns nh nt nj nu nl nn no np\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Kiss them goodnight on the forehead?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-37 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/themeproducers.com\/suga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/viviana-rishe-5a5GnXfZSzE-unsplash.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"6cbb\" class=\"lp lq ao bg ls b lt lu lv lw lx ly lz ma mb mc md\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Notice my intention wasn\u2019t to come up with 10 good ideas. Bad ideas count too! Just 10 ideas, no matter how good or bad. Every day.<\/p>\n<p id=\"37d1\" class=\"lp lq ao bg ls b lt lu lv lw lx ly lz ma mb mc md\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Over those 30 days, my thinking evolved. I gained clarity about the project and my writing about it over time as I paid attention.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ef81\" class=\"lp lq ao bg ls b lt lu lv lw lx ly lz ma mb mc md\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">We\u2019re all aware of the knowing\/doing gap, but for me it\u2019s not so simple. \u201cJust do it\u201d sounds good, but too often I just do it for a short while because I haven\u2019t grounded the habit. I see this method as a way of laying the groundwork for the doing.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"lm ln lo\">\n<p id=\"b0cd\" class=\"lp lq ao lr ls b lt lu lv lw lx ly lz ma mb mc md\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">All of the important action we take begins with intention. We don\u2019t just wake up one day and say \u201cI\u2019m going to start the exercise program now.\u201d Or, if we do, the effort is likely to be short-lived.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p id=\"9636\" class=\"lp lq ao bg ls b lt lu lv lw lx ly lz ma mb mc md\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">We begin to stew about something, sometimes for years, before we actually begin. As we stew, we get clearer on what the doing will look like and what will be required.
